I stayed at The White Lake Hotel in Tansen, and while the room was basic, the view from my window was truly amazing. the sight of the morning mist over the hills felt like a scene from a painting. However, the shared bathroom could use some serious cleaning, which was a downside. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the area, but don't expect a serene lake as the name suggests.
